What to do with a week off work...

Hey all, I've had this week off real employment so have been putting it to relatively good use!  The website has been updated with a new layout and changes to the Who is? and Right To Play pages, and its new .com domain is all set up and working. 

You may also notice that it says Mix & Mingle on the left as well.  This is the BIG news as M&M is now going to be hosted by yours truly which is very exciting indeed!  I see this tournament as being the flagship event of the ninety2 brand.

I've arranged to host M&M at Ponds Forge on 6/7 February 2009, with the usual 80s themed party moving away from its previous venue into the Stardust Bar, which played host to the 2008 Steal Awards Night.

The 2009 Awards Night will be held at The Fountain, whilst the party for Uni Womens Indoors is going to be held at the 90s theme bar, Babylon.  I have also been in touch with a couple of venues for outdoor events.  More details on these projects will hopefully follow soon.

Since I last posted we have had Tour 3 which was an excellent weekend for Steal with the Ladies holding seed and the Open side winning all of its matches.  This week also saw the end of the Sheffield Summer League series, with the Owls taking the title by three games to two.  Over the five matches there was just one point in it, with the Owls outscoring the Blades 48-47.
