Pre-xmas update

Just to keep everyone up-to-date before it goes quiet for the Christmas period.  I have various bits of exciting event news to share with you all, but my mouth must remain zipped regarding one of these at the current time...

All 24 teams for Mix & Mingle have now been finalised and all the details will be released as early as possible in the new year.  The schedule is tentatively written, but seeding will need to be finalised and there are things relating to the tournament and party venues that need to be discussed further.  However, it does promise to be one hell of a tournament!

There is going to be a new tournament held over the Easter weekend in Sheffield.  This will be a 5-a-side mixed event in aid of Right To Play and will hopefully be the first of many.  Venue details are just being finalised and there is a naming competition taking place with a cinema voucher prize up for grabs for the best suggestion.

As mentioned above, there is another event which should be taking place later in the year but I am awaiting final confirmation of this so keep an eye out in January for some more news on that, and some other thoughts that are running around my head.

On a personal note, I was unsuccessful at Leeds Open trials but have been training with the Flyght Club open team alongside trying to plan for Steal Mixed domination.  This last weekend I was at Copa de Crimbo in Nottingham and am looking forward to Ultimate Resolution to finish off my year in style!  Oh, and eleven days off work will do nicely too!
