Quick Update

It feels like ages since I have posted anything here so I thought it was time to give you an update, and show that I have not been sat on my lazy bum doing nothing!

Firstly the charity prize draw postponed from the ill-fated Resurrection is now going to take place on the beach at Copa Del Soul in June.  All the proceeds will go toward my sponsorship fund for the Brussels-London cycle which I have signed up for!

With regards to upcoming tournaments, there is UKU Regionals in July - the Competition's Committee is still debating what the regions will be but I expect this to be announced soon.

I hope to run a small hat tournament in September in the Resurrection mould.  It will be a 5-on-5 grass event, for all abilities and experience.  The date should hopefully be agreed with the venue in the next week or so.

Uni Women's Indoors may be coming back to Sheffield.  I have Ponds Forge provisionally booked for 6/7 November and am considering a bid for what should be women's regionals - though I may do something new...

Mix & Mingle will be back at Ponds Forge on 5/6 February 2011.

Preliminary talks are ongoing regarding a return to Savage 7s - with three regional events proposed leading to a National final.  Watch this space.

I'm still hoping to get a UKU accredited Open tournament off the ground in Ipswich.

Apart from all that it is just work, work, work!
