Having a Regional qualifier for the UKU National Championships is a new idea for 2010 and has been introduced for two reasons:
1. The National Championship Series is to be a competition that any and all Ultimate teams in the UK can enter.
2. Promotion of smaller, more locally-based Ultimate competitions.
This season will see five qualifiers taking place with the South East, South West (including Wales), Midlands and Scotland being the other events.
The Northern region consists of the North East, North West and Yorkshire & Humber.
Mount St Mary's College has the capacity for up to 12 pitches and has been used for the last two years to host the BUCS National Championships (divisions 1 and 2). The venue has also played host to National Rugby League training camps, local and National rugby and cricket, National Youth Athletics and BUCS Lacrosse.

Player Information
ALL players must at least be a basic member on UK Ultimate and rostered with your team.
Please ensure that you only park in the designated car parks. The lower car park (near the pavilion) only has the capacity for 25 cars, with further parking available in the top car park. All other car parks are out of bounds - these have barriers that work on timers so if you park there, you will not be able to leave!
Water is available from taps on the outside of the pavilion, or from the water station in the middle of the field. If you remove a container from the water station, please ensure that you replace any empties so that water levels can be easily maintained.
Breakfast (e.g. bacon and sausage sandwiches) will be available in the pavilion from 8am on Saturday morning.
The pavilion will be open all day and will serve sandwiches, pasta, burgers and chips, as well as hot and cold drinks. Alcohol will also be available so why not wind down at the end of the day with a couple of cold beers as you watch the final?!
Toilets and showers can be found in the pavilion.
Please put all rubbish in the bins provided. The venue staff have always been very positive following the BUCS events so don't let it be any different here!
The nearest A&E or minor injuries unit is at Bassetlaw Hospital, Worksop. Chesterfield Hospital is also close, both within 30mins drive according to Google.
Weather is forecast to be good (though it may be a little windier than indicated).
